Kesar thandai is a cool indian drink prepared with a mixture of saffron (kesar),almonds, fennel seeds, magaztari seeds, rose petals, pepper, khus khus seeds. The kesar thandai is a traditional nutritious cooling saffron flavoured drink, relished on festivals like holi.

Ingredients

To Be Ground Into A Fine Powder
1/4 cup almonds (badam)
2 tbsp poppy seeds (khus-khus)
2 tbsp fennel seeds (saunf)
1/2 tsp cardamom (elaichi) powder
20 white peppercorns (kalimirch)

Other Ingredients
1 ltr milk
1/2 cup powdered sugar
10 to 12 peppercorns (kalimirch)
a few saffron (kesar) strands
Method
    Method
  1. In a deep pan, boil the milk and keep aside to cool completely. Keep aside.
  2. Add the ground powder, mix well and refrigerate the mixture for 3 to 4 hours.
  3. Strain the mixture through a sieve, add the sugar, peppercorns and saffron and mix well.
  4. Serve chilled.

Thankiuuuu tarla ji for such a tasty& easy recipe, can u pl tell how v can preserve thandai like reafy to use, like other squshes??
