1 tbsp peeled and freshly grated ginger (adrak)
1 tbsp lemon juice

  1. To make honey ginger tea for cold and cough, place the ginger in a jar or teapot.
  2. Pour 2 cups of hot boiling hot water into the teapot.
  3. Allow the tea to infuse for 2 minutes.
  4. Strain the tea using a strainer.
  5. Add honey and lemon juice to it and mix well.
  6. Serve the honey ginger tea for cold and cough hot.

Raw unpasteurized honey is to be used: The honey must be raw and unpasteurized. Raw unpasteurized honey is made in India and easily available also on Amazon.  If its organic honey then it can be pasteurized and be processed. If you want honey to behave as a healthy option to your diet, then you must buy the correct honey by reading the label on the honey bottle and this Raw unpasteurized honey is far more expensive than organic and processed honey. Oragnic Raw unpasteurized honey is also good to use. 
     
  5. Sip on this drink at least twice a day, preferably the first cup being early in the morning.  
  6. It helps to reduce inflammation and de stress you as well. 

For Honey Ginger Tea for Cold and Cough

  1. For Honey Ginger Tea for Cold and Cough, wash the ginger and wash it with clean water to make it free of dirt.
  2. Next peel the ginger using a peeler. Discard the peels. You can avoid this step if you wish to, as the tea is going to be strained later.
