Ingredients

1/4 cup chilled ghee
1/2 cup plain flour (maida)
3 tbsp powdered sugar
1/2 tsp lemon essence
little yellow colour
glace cherries for decoration
2 tsp dried ginger (soonth) powder
Method


  1. Whip ghee and sugar till light and fully mixed.
  2. Mix all the other ingredients and make a semi-soft dough.
  3. Divide this dough into 10-12 part,give oval shape .
  4. Make criss cross design with a knife.
  5. Place a cherry in the centre and bake in pre-heated oven at 170 degree cent for 15-20 mins.
