Ingredients

2 sheets of puff pastry, thawed
oil
1/3 cup custard powder
1/2 cup castor sugar
2 cups milk
2 kiwis, thinly sliced
250 gms punnet strawberries, quatered
1/2 cup apricot jam
Method


  1. Cut pastry sheets into quarters. cut 2 right angles 1 cm wide, on opposite corners of square, leaving a 2 cm space between the 2.
  2. Bring opposite sides over each other to form a border and twist uncut corners.
  3. Spray with cooking oil.
  4. Cook in a hot oven, 200*c for about 15 minutes, or until golden brown & crisp. cool.
  5. Gently press down centre of squares to form cavity for custard.
  6. Make custard.
  7. Divide custard between squares, spread evenly to corners of pastry; allow to cool.
  8. Decorate with kiwi fruit & strawberries. heat jam in a pan, stir over low heat until warm; brush jam over fruit.
