Faraali Sanwa Khichdi recipe - How to make Faraali Sanwa Khichdi

Ingredients
1 cup sama millet , washed
2 tbsp ghee
1 tsp cumin seeds (jeera)
1 small potato , cubed
2 tsp rock salt
1/2 tsp chilli powder
2 small green chillies
chopped coriander (dhania) for garnishing
Method
    Method
  1. Heat the ghee in a pressure cooker and add the cumin seeds and green chillies.
  2. When the seeds crackle, add the chilli powder and salt and saute for 10 seconds.
  3. Add the potato and rice, mix well and saute till they turn golden brown.
  4. Add 2 cups water,lower the flame and cover and pressure cook for about 5-6 minutes or till the potatoes are cooked and water is dried.
  5. Serve hot garnished with coriander.

This faraali recipe turned out super duper tasty. Thanks for this recipe. I altered it a little by adding 3 cups of water instead of two, and added some pepper powder. Also, while garnishing with coriander, I added roasted groundnuts powder to it.
