dahi ke sholay is one of the popular deep fried street food in north India especially in Punjab and Delhi state. A very good starter recipe for all parties.
dahi bread rolls are made using hung curd with some spices and loads of veggies stuffed in bread rolled and deep fried. It is a crispy snack recipe which is crisp from outside and melt in mouth creamy filling inside. In addition the grated paneer and hung curd / yogurt combination makes it rich and creamy.
If you are a health conscious person, you can air fry or bake these dahi bread rolls they taste equally tasty.
Tips to make dahi ke sholay recipe: 1. Make sure you use fresh sandwich bread to make this recipe. 2. Use fresh curd to make hung curd. 3. You can also add finely chopped coloured capsicum in the dahi mixture.

For dahi ke sholay- To make dahi ke sholay recipe, in a deep bowl, combine all the ingredients except bread slices. Mix well to make the dahi mixture.
- Cut the sides of the bread slices and place a slice of the bread on the bread plastic paper.
- Apply little water on the bread slice and place 2 tbsp of dahi mixture.
- Now roll the butter paper while rolling the bread placed inside it and press on both the side to make dahi ke sholey.
- Repeat steps 2 to 4 to make remaining 9 dahi ke sholay.
- Heat oil in a deep pan, and deep fry them in hot oil on medium flame till golden brown and crisp.
- Drain on an absorbent paper. Cut each kebab diagonally into two.
- Serve dahi ke sholay recipe hot with green chutney and tomato ketchup.

dahi ke sholay recipe | dahi bread rolls | dahi ke sholey delhi street food | is made using easily available ingredients in India: 10 bread slices, 1 cup hung curd, ¼ cup grated paneer, 1 tsp finely chopped green chillies, ¼ cup finely chopped onions, 2 tbsp finely chopped carrots, 3 tbsp finely chopped capsicum, 2 tbsp finely chopped coriander, 1 tsp dry red chilli flakes, 1 tsp powdered sugar, 1/8 tsp cardamom powder, ¼ tsp garam masala, ½ tsp chaat masala, Salt to taste and Oil for frying.
