Mmmmm, who does not love chocolate? It is this universal appeal that makes chocolate one of the most preferred flavours for cakes as well their decoration.
Here, we show you how to easily prepare the famous Chocolate Butter Icing, to impart an intense flavour and irresistible looks to your cake or pastry.
Use this icing as soon as it is made, before it hardens. And, remember to spread it with a damp palette knife to get a smooth finish.
You can also try other icing variants like the Orange Butter Icing or Rum Butter Icing .
Method- Sieve the icing sugar, cocoa powder and drinking chocolate in a deep bowl and keep aside.
- Combine the butter in a deep bowl and mix it with a help of a wooden spoon till light and smooth for 2 to 3 minutes.
- Add the icing sugar-chocolate mixture gradually and mix well.
- Add the vanilla essence and mix well. Use immediately.
