Method


  1. Dry grind uraddal and rawrice along with 1/2 tsp methi.
  2. In a bowl mix together the ground dal rice powder along with all the other ingredients ,if curd is not sufficient then add water to make it dropping consistency .
  3. Heat oil,drop the mimture in the form of small marble like balls ,fry till golden,remove serve hot.

Being a Telugu I do think the recipe should be a correct one! Chiiti boorelu is a crispy snack made with maida and rice flour blended in with the spice of crushed green chillies n get the softness from yoghurt. The recipe you have is for punugulu using idli batter.
