Cheesy Corn Balls recipe - How to make Cheesy Corn Balls

Ingredients

For The Paste
1 tbsp plain flour (maida)
1 tbsp cornflour

Other Ingredients
1 cup mashed paneer (cottage cheese)
1/2 cup boiled sweet corn kernels (makai ke dane)
1/2 cup grated processed cheese
1 small finely chopped onion
1 to 2 finely chopped green chillies
2 tsp finely chopped coriander (dhania) leaves
1/2 tsp black peppercorns (kalimirch)
1/2 tsp dried oregano
salt to taste
oil for frying
1 tbsp plain flour (maida) and 1 tbsp paste (mixed with water)
1 cup bread crumbs or suji
Method

    For the paste
  1. Combine maida and cornflour in enough water to make a thin paste.

  1. Combine all the ingredients except the oil and mix well. Divide the mixture into equal sized small balls and keep it in the fridge for atleast an hour.
  2. Remove the balls from fridge 10 mins before frying.
  3. Heat the oil. Now, take each ball, dip it in prepared flour mixture then roll in the bread crumbs.
  4. Deep- fry till golden brown.
  5. Serve with green chutney or hot and spicy tomato ketchup.
