Bonda surprise presents an innovative bonda or gram flour coated deep fried snack or pakoda recipe with leftover upma as stuffing. The upma is made into small balls, coated with besan and then deep fried to a crispy finish.

Ingredients

2 cups besan (Bengal gram flour)
4 tsp rice flour (chawal ka atta)
a pinch of baking soda
salt to taste
asafoetida (hing)
oil for frying
left over uppma
Method


  1. Uppma made in the morning , for breakfast can be made use , for this............
  2. Prepare the batter for bonda , using the flour , besan , baking powder , etc.
  3. Make the upma into small balls.
  4. Dip them in the batter.
  5. Deep fry in oil.
  6. Delicious bondas are ready.
  7. Serve them hot , with chutney or sauce.
