Baked Indian Tricolour Dish recipe - How to make Baked Indian Tricolour Dish

Ingredients

For The Green Layer
1 tbsp olive oil
1/2 tsp chopped garlic (lehsun)
2 tbsp chopped onions
1 cup blanched spinach (palak) puree
salt to taste
1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper (kalimirch)
1 cup grated paneer (cottage cheese)

For The Orange Layer
1 tbsp olive oil
1/2 tbsp chopped garlic (lehsun)
2 tbsp chopped onions
1 cup tomato puree
salt to taste
1 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp dry red chilli flakes (paprika)
1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper (kalimirch)
1 cup boiled macaroni

For The White Layer
1 tbsp butter
1 tbsp cornflour
1 cup milk
salt to taste
1 cup boiled mixed vegetables (corn , I253 and capsicum)
1/2 tsp pepper powder

Other Ingredients
butter for greasing the tray
grated processed cheese as required
1/2 tsp dry red chilli flakes (paprika)
1 tsp olive oil for sprinkling
Method

For the green layer

    For the green layer
  1. Heat oil in a non-stick pan, and add garlic and onion and saute till pink.
  2. The add spinach puree, salt, pepper, paneer and cook for few mins and keep aside.

For the orange layer

  1. Heat oil and add garlic and onion and saute till pink.
  2. Then add tomato puree,salt,oregano,paprika,pepper and macaroni and cook for few mins and keep aside.

For the white layer

  1. Heat butter and add corn flour and saute for a while.
  2. Then add milk and cook till thick.
  3. Then add salt,vegetables,pepper and mix well and keep aside.

How to proceed

  1. +Now take a baking tray and grease it with butter.
  2. Spread the green layer and the spread the white layer.
  3. On the white layer sprinkle some grated cheese and then make the orange layer.
  4. On the orange layer sprinkle some grated processed cheese and sprinkle paprika.
  5. Drizzle some oilive oil and bake in a preheated oven at 200C for 5-7 mins and serve.7
