Ingredients


For Aloo Roti Taco On Tava
8 leftover rotis
6 tbsp butter for cooking
8 tbsp tomato ketchup
4 tbsp green chutney
1/2 cup diced mozzarella cheese

For The Aloo Stuffing (to Be Mixed Into Stuffing)
2 cups boiled and grated potatoes
1/2 cup boiled sweet corn kernels (makai ke dane)
1/2 cup finely chopped coloured capsicum
1 tsp dry red chilli flakes (paprika)
1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper (kalimirch)
1/2 tsp chaat masala
2 tbsp finely chopped coriander (dhania)
salt to taste

Method

For aloo roti taco on tava

  1. To make {span class="bold1"}aloo taco on tava{/span}, place a roti on a clean, dry surface.
  2. Apply 1 tbsp tomato ketchup and ½ tbsp green chutney on the roti.
  3. Arrange ¼ cup of potato mixed on half of the roti.
  4. Put 1 tbsp of cheese and fold the roti to make semi-circle.
  5. Repeat steps 1 to 4 to make remaining 7 aloo tacos.
  6. Heat a non-stick pan, grease with little butter, place 2 tacos at a time.
  7. Cook them on medium flame on both the sides till golden brown and crispy using little butter for cooking.
  8. Serve {span class="bold1"}aloo tacos on tava{/span} hot with tomato ketchup.
