Normally when you make a tomato bath, the skin of the tomatoes will come inbetween.so it is best to have it pureed. you can also use the readymade tomato puréed available. it makes an excellent lunch

Ingredients

2 cups long grained rice (basmati)
4 big and ripe tomatoes
4 onions , chopped
4 tsp oil
2 tsp cumin seeds (jeera)
2 tsp chilli powder
2 tsp turmeric powder (haldi)
salt to taste
1/2 cup coconut milk
Method


  1. Boil tomatoes, peel, and blend ina blender.
  2. Soak basmati rice in water and drain.
  3. Heat oil add jeera, saute the onions,
  4. add the 4 cups of tomato juice.
  5. Add chilli powder, coconut milk,salt, tumeric and the soaked basmati rice, keep on a low flame and cook till the bath is ready.
