Ingredients

Method

  1. Combine the vermicelli, 2 cups of hot water and little salt in a deep non-stick pan, cover and keep aside for about 5 minutes or till the vermicelli is soft. Drain and keep aside.
  2. Heat the ghee in a non-stick kadhai, add the mustard seeds and urad dal and sauté for a few seconds.
  3. When the seeds crackle, add the curry leaves, onions and green chillies and sauté on a medium flame till the onions turn translucent.
  4. Add the vermicelli, coconut, coriander, lemon juice and, a little more salt, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 2 minutes, while stirring gently. Serve immediately.
