The Oatmeal Almond Milk with Apples is as easy as easy can be. Can you think of anything simpler than adding all the ingredients to a jar, mixing and refrigerating?
Well, that’s all it takes to make this healthy vegan breakfast. You need to refrigerate it for 4 hours at least, but can comfortably keep it for 6-8 hours, so you can even make it the previous night and stash it into the fridge, to relish the next morning.

Oats and chia seeds are fibre-rich and that makes this a truly healthy breakfast. Protein-rich almond milk makes this recipe suitable for lactose-intolerant folks as well. We have used maple syrup for sweetening, but if you are not vegan, you can go for honey as well.

Ingredients
For Oatmeal Almond Milk With Apples
1/2 cup quick cooking rolled oats
1 cup unsweetened almond milk
1 tbsp peanut butter
1 tsp maple syrup , optional
1 tbsp finely chopped dates (khajur)
1 tsp chia seeds
1/4 cup chopped apple
Method
- Combine the oats, almond milk, peanut butter and maple syrup in a jar and mix well using a whisk.
- Add the dates and chia seeds and mix well.
- Close the jar with a lid and refrigerate for atleast 4 hours.
- Just before serving, open the lid, top it with the apples and serve immediately.

This oats with almond milk and apples is a delicious combination. It tastes fresh and is very filling and energising. It is a great on the go breakfast or snack if you are busy. Did not like the texture and flavour of the chopped dates but this is a healthy and tasty meal overall.

Oh, just loves oats for breakfast and was looking for an option without milk. Thanks for giving the option of using almond milk as thats super healthy and gives me the protein i require being a vegetarian. Its Vegan also!!!
