  1. To make jowar sesame bread sticks, combine all the ingredients and knead into a soft dough using enough warm water.
  2. Add the butter and knead again till the dough is smooth and elastic.
  3. Cover with a damp muslin cloth and keep aside for 15 minutes.
  4. Divide the dough into 10 equal parts.
  5. Grease your hands with oil as we are going to roll the dough into a 100 mm. -125 mm. (4" x 5") length cylinder shape.
  6. Place them on a greased baking tray and bake in a preheated oven at 200°c (400°f) for 20 minutes, turning sides over at 10 minutes.
  7. Cool jowar sesame bread sticks and enjoy them.

    1. In a bowl put 1/4 cup jowar (white millet) flour.
    2. Add 1/4 cup whole wheat flour (gehun ka atta).
    3. Add 1/2 tbsp sesame seeds (til).
    4. Add 1/2 tsp fresh yeast.
    5. Add salt to taste. We added 1/4th tsp salt. In general it's best to restrict salt usage for toddlers.
    6. Gradually add enough warm water to make a soft dough. We added 1/4 cup water and then 1 tbsp water. 
    7. Knead into a soft dough.
    8. Add 1 tbsp butter.
    9. Knead again till the dough is smooth and elastic.
    10. Cover with a damp muslin cloth and keep aside for 15 minutes.
    11. Dough has now risen.

    4. Line a baking tray with parchment papaer.
    5. Place the rolled bread sticks dough on the tray.
    6. Bake in a preheated oven at 200 C ( 400 F) for 10 minutes.
