Method
Fresh:
  1. Place 1 cup shelled fresh peas on a microwave proof plate. Sprinkle 2 tablespoons of water over them and microwave on high for 5 minutes. Use as required.
Frozen:
  1. Place 1 cup frozen peas on a microwave-proof plate. Sprinkle 1 tablespoon of water over them and microwave on high for 2 minutes. Use as required.
Peas purée:
  1. Follow any of the above procedure. Allow the peas to cool and blend in a mixer along with enough water to form a thick purée. Use as required.
  2. 1 cup cooked green peas = ¾ cup cooked green peas purée
