The fun trifle lives up to its name because it has everything you love—cake, fruits, jam and custard! it takes a bit of preparation but is quite easy to prepare. You can prepare a whole lot in the morning and stove it into the fridge to take out in the afternoon when your friends arrive for a chat.

Ingredients
1 sponge cake
3 bananas
1 apple
strawberry jam
fruit juice (this is the sugar syrup from the tin of any canned fruits)

For The Custard
2 1/2 cups milk
4 tbsp custard powder
4 tbsp sugar

  10. Sereve chilled.

Tips
  1. Make sure the custard is completely cold before you start making the trifle.
