Ideal for kids, choco-mallow combines two things that kids love – hot chocolate and marshmallows! Use white marshmallows, as they go well with the cocoa – in colour and flavour.

If you don’t have marshmallows, you can instead try sprinkling grated chocolate on top of the drink.

Ingredients
3 cups milk
1 cup water
4 tsp cocoa powder
4 tbsp sugar
4 white marshmallows
Method
    Method
  1. Combine the milk, water, cocoa powder and sugar in a deep non-stick pan, whisk well and cook on a medium flame for 6 to 8 minutes.
  2. Place 1 marshmallow in a glass.
  3. Put a little of the hot mixture over it.
  4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 to make 7 more glasses.
  5. Serve immediately.
