To make black tea , boil 2 cups of water in a saucepan on a medium flame for 3 minutes. Switch off the flame, add the tea powder, cover it with a lid and keep aside to 3 minutes. Strain immediately using a strainer and discard the tea powder. Your homemade black tea is ready. This is a quick, easy black tea recipe.

Black Tea is one of the simplest and most refreshing drinks, forged with the cultures of most world communities. When you visit some places, ‘tea trails’ are part of the heritage and cultural tours. You will realize in such occasions that every tea has a character of its own.

Having your tea black helps you experience the characteristics of different types of tea – its colour, strength, flavour, etc. Black tea has a revitalizing, lingering taste. It boosts your energy level because of the caffeine.

I would like to share some important tips to make the perfect homemade black tea. 1. Add the tea powder. Always add the tea powder only after you have turned the flame off. This will prevent the Black Tea from getting over-brewed and bitter. 2. Cover with a lid. The lid will seal the saucepan and will not let the aroma of the tea powder escape. Let the Black Tea leaves steep for about 2 ½ to 3 minutes. 3. Adding sugar should be avoided as it lessens the effect of the Black Tea.

We have shown you also how to make black tea with lemon. Add about ¼ tsp of lemon juice to each cup. You will observe that the color of your black tea becomes lighter and more appealing. Also, adding a few drops lemon to your tea will make it healthier as lemon juice is a digestive and detoxifying agent.

Serve Black Tea with Jar Snacks like Baked Puris, Cheese Chilli Frisbees, Herbed Sticks and Shakarpara.
