how to wash and chop bhindi

  1. This is bhindi, also called as ladies finger, available throughout the year. 
  2. Wash it well in a strainer using water. 
  3. Dry it with a dry cloth. Make sure it is not wet. 
  4. Make sure the bhindi are totally dry by wipping them well. 
  5. Take a chopping board and chop them using a sharp knife. Do not finely chop it.
  6. This is how it looks. It might feel the bhindi is a lot but bhindi subzi shrinks on cooking.

Do we need to cover with lid and cook the bhindi? Many a times, it gets slimy and then what to do? If u could help with tips. Thanks

This recipe I atleast make once a week as i love bhindi and when served with hot rotis and dal i love it. Perfect recipe
