Semolina-1cup
Sugar pw-1cup
Desicated coconut-1cup
Cream-2tin
Egg-2nos
Baking pw-2tsp
Oil-1/4 cup
almonds (badam)FOR SUGAR SYRUP:
Sugar –11/2 cups
Water-1/2cup
- Beat egg with an eggbeater. add sugar powder and whip again. then add cream and oil mix well. mix semolina, desiccated coconut, and baking powder in a bowl.
- Mix semolina mixture to the egg mixture. (mix with hand in one direction). pour this into a greased baking dish. keep for 2-hrs.peel badam; slice into half. place this on top. bake till done. when it is done in the bottom bake on top to get golden colour.
- For sugar syrup
- Make sugar syrup and add cardamom powder and 2 drops of lemon juice. pour this on top of hot basboosa.sugar syrup should b made previously and cooled. slice into square badam should in center of each squares.
