Ingredients

2 cups vegetables (baby corn, broccoli , carrots ) , cut into wedges (parboiled)
1 tsp fresh red chillies , sliced
1/2 cup blanched, peeled and sliced almond (badam)
3/4 cup bean sprouts
2 cups chinese white sauce
1 tbsp oil
salt to taste
Method
    Main procedure
  1. Heat the oil, add the fresh red chillies, almonds, bean sprouts and vegetables and sauté for a few seconds.
  2. Add the chinese white sauce and salt and bring to a boil.
  3. Serve immediately.

Tips
  1. To blanch the almonds, boil water and take off the flame. Add almonds to the hot water and keep aside for 10 to 15 minutes.
  2. The skin will loosen thus making it easy to peel the almonds.

Baby corn, broccoli and carrots cooked in Chinese white sauce. The crunch of almonds in the vegetable is just fab and the recipe is spiced with red chillies.
