Ingredients

For Indian Style Tomato Spinach Pasta
1 cup cooked penne
1 tsp dry red chilli flakes (paprika)
1/4 cup cherry tomato halves
1/2 cup blanched and chopped spinach (palak)
2 tsp olive oil
2 tbsp roughly chopped garlic (lehsun)
1/2 cup sliced onions
2 tbsp tomato puree
1 tsp dried mixed herbs
1/4 cup grated processed cheese
1/4 cup milk
salt to taste

For The Garnish
1 tbsp roughly chopped walnuts (akhrot)

Method

To make {span class="bold1"}indian style tomato spinach pasta{/span}, heat the olive oil in a broad non-stick pan, add the garlic, onions, chilli flakes, tomato purée, and mixed herbs, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 10 minutes, while stirring occasionally.
Add the spinach and cherry tomatoes and mix well.
Add the pasta, milk, cheese and salt, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 2 minutes, while stirring occasionally.
