This cheese powder recipe is very easy to make at home using staple ingredients available in your kitchen, that too in a microwave. If you do not have microwave you can make this recipe in otg and pan by following same steps at 170 C for 5 minutes or place an aluminium paper at the bottom of the pan and cook on slow flame until the cheese melts.
This cheese powder seasoning tastes best when made using processed cheese but you can use any cheese of you liking. Store this homemade cheese powder for a month and use as an when required to season your nachos, French fries or popcorns etc.

For cheese powder- To make cheese powder, in a microwave safe plate, sprinkle 2 tbsp of bread crumbs and arrange the grated processed cheese evenly over it.
- Microwave it on medium power for 7 to 8 minutes. Keep aside and allow it to cool until it becomes crispy.
- Once cooled, break them into pieces and put in the mixer.
- Add the remaining 2 tbsp breadcrumbs, turmeric powder, kashmiri chilli powder and salt to taste.
- Blend it till fine powder. Transfer the cheese powder into a clean, dry airtight container and store the cheese powder in the refrigerator for 1 month.
- Use this cheese powder as a seasoning to your popcorns, nachos, french fries etc.
