Indian style homemade almond milk | badam milk made using soaked almonds | cheap and easy unsweetened Indian almond milk | with 11 amazing images.

This wholesome almond milk made with soaked, unpeeled almonds is easy to make and also cost-effective compared to commercial brands.

We trialed different methods before arriving at this awesome one, which gives a good taste and consistency. Don’t peel the soaked almonds. Just blend them with a good blender and flavour the milk with vanilla essence.

We also recommend not straining the milk. If you use a good quality blender, you will get a smooth milk straight away. Serve it chilled.

You can also store it in the fridge for 3 days. This is one good thing to stock up on, because almond is a heart-friendly nut that helps maintain cholesterol levels. It is rich in vitamin E, and helps to scavenge free radicals and keep the cells healthy.

When you soak the almonds, the enzyme inhibitors present in the peel seep into the water and are removed. This helps improve digestion and absorption of nutrients. Chock-full of essential fatty acids, this Homemade Almond Milk made with Soaked Almonds helps to boost brain power too!

You can use this milk to make recipes lke Avocado Almond Milk Vegan Smoothie , Oatmeal Almond Milk with Apples and many more.

Unpeeled almonds contain phytic acid, an anti-nutrient that prevents absorption of crucial minerals. I recommend using peeled almonds. Straining the milk means fewer calories per portion!

Thanks for this lovely and tasty Almond milk recipe. I have tried a few other recipes from the net and found this to be the best. Your other Almond Milk recipe without soaking is faster and probably more practical. Anyways, the Almond is tasty and now i can make it at home. Zero preservatives and you know whats going in.
