We trialed different methods before arriving at this awesome one, which gives a good taste and consistency. Don’t peel the soaked almonds. Just blend them with a good blender and flavour the milk with vanilla essence.
We also recommend not straining the milk. If you use a good quality blender, you will get a smooth milk straight away. Serve it chilled.

Method- To make homemade almond milk made with soaked almonds, combine the almonds and enough water in a deep bowl, cover with lid and keep aside to soak overnight. Drain.
- Combine the soaked almonds, do not peel them and add the vanilla essence and ¾ cup of cold water in a blender and blend very well. No need to strain the milk.
- We recommend a high quality a bullet blender or a vitamix. If the quality of the blender is not good it will not be smooth and there will be small almond pieces left. We have also not strained the milk.
- Refrigerate till use and serve chilled. It lasts good in the fridge for 3 days we have tested it.

In a deep glass bowl put 20 almonds (badam).

Add enough water to cover the almonds.

Cover with lid and keep aside to soak overnight.
