As far as one knows, the word ''fastens'' means to fix or to attach an object to another object. It does NOT mean to hasten or to speedup as used in this recipe...quicken is the word to be used to imply increase speed...

A good variation of rice.. Masala bhaat has a perfect taste and spice.. The crunch that veggies gives, makes it even more mouth-watering..
