CAPSICUMS

Where once we only had access to green peppers or capsicums, things have changed considerably over the past few years. Today you can find red and yellow capsicums, and sometimes even orange and purple! These vibrantly hued capsicums not only add colour and visual appeal to a dish but also enhance flavour. Use them in soups, salads, baked dishes and vegetables and see the difference!

Capsicum is known to be beneficial in alleviating and preventing many illnesses. The colour in red and yellow capsicums increases its beta carotene, vitamin A and vitamin C levels. Capsicums are also low in fat and calories and hence do not increase bad cholesterol levels in the body.
