Watermelon Sorbet
This combination of lemon and watermelon is a favourite with kids. For a more adult touch, add around 15 ml to 20 ml of rum to each glass!
Preparation time: 10 minutes.
Cooking time: Nil.
Serves 4.
3 cups watermelon (tarbuj) cubes, deseeded
2 tbsp milk powder
3 tbsp sugar syrup
3 tsp lemon juice
1 cup crushed ice
- Combine all the ingredients and blend in a mixer till smooth.
- In each hi-ball glass, pour equal quantities of the above juice and freeze for 3 to 4 hours.
- Serve immediately garnished with a watermelon wedge and mint leaves.
