Ingredients

For Frying Paneer
2 cups triangular paneer (cottage cheese) pieces
2 tsp ginger (adrak)
1 1/2 tsp chilli paste
1/4 cup cornflour
salt and to taste
1/4 cup oil
1 cup lettuce / cabbage

For The Sauce
2 tbsp oil
2 tsp finely chopped garlic (lehsun)
2 tsp finely chopped ginger (adrak)
1/4 cup chopped spring onions whites
1/2 cup onion cubes
1 cup triangular coloured capsicum cubes
2 tbsp schezwan sauce
2 tsp red chilli sauce
1 tsp green chilli sauce
2 tsp soy sauce
1 tbsp cornflour
salt to taste
2 tbsp finely chopped spring onion greens
Method

For frying paneer

    For frying paneer
  1. To make paneer hot pan, in a deep bowl, add paneer cubes, ginger garlic paste, green chilli paste and salt. Mix well.
  2. Add cornflour and coat the paneer pieces well.
  3. Heat oil in a broad non-stick pan, and shallow fry the paneer pieces till golden brown and crisp. Drain on an absorbent paper. Keep aside.

For the sauce

    For the sauce
  1. In a bowl add the cornflour and 3 tbsp water, mix well and keep aside.
  2. Heat oil in a wok or deep pan, add garlic and ginger and sauté on medium flame for few seconds.
  3. Add spring onion whites, onions, and capsicum cubes and sauté on a medium flame for a minute.
  4. Add schezwan sauce, red chilli sauce, green chilli sauce, soya sauce, cornflour-water mixture and cook on a medium flame for 1 minute.
  5. Add fried paneer cubes and salt and pepper to taste, mix gently and cook on a medium flame for 1 minute.
  6. Heat the iron sizzler pan and place the lettuce leaves. Arrange paneer hot pan and garnish with spring onion greens.
  7. Serve paneer hot pan immedietaly.
