Hello!! Nice recipe. Will give a try. I want to know can we add Baking Soda/ENO/ Curd to make it soft like rice idlis. For how many days can the batter be stored in fridge? Any precaution to be taken while storing it. I Also want to know How to Store Rice Idli Batter in fridge and for how many days can it be stored. Which Chutney goes best with barley idli- Coconut/ Tomato? Please respond.

Tarla Dalal    Eno can be added to make barley idlis soft. Prefer not to store the barley idli batter. You can serve barley idli with https://www.tarladalal.com/coconut-chutney---idlis-and-dosas-1653r and https://www.tarladalal.com/tomato-chutney----idlis-and-dosas-1654r. Rice idli batter can be refrigerated for 1 to 2 days. If frozen, it can be stored upto 15 to 20 days.

Too good and absolutely healthy with the use of fibre rich barley and no oil at all. These idlis don''t fluff like regular idlis but they taste fab!!
