1 tbsp honey

- Combine the chia seeds, honey, lemon juice and 2 cups of water in a jar and mix well.

Yes, but lemon will give the Vitamin C and taste. Since you are on weight loss you may want to drop the honey. This drink minus the honey is good for all. Your weight loss depends on tons of factors. Are you stress free, are you sleeping 8 hours a day, do you eat healthy and lastly you need to exercise 6 days a week. All of this is a circle of fitness and must be followed.

Chia seeds have a tendency to absorb water and swell. We have recommended 1 hour of soaking in 2 cups of water. So if you soak overnight, you may have to adjust the quantity of water used.
