This flavourful drink is one you should have after your first trimester has ended. Most doctors advice against having both papaya and pineapple fruits during your first trimester as these can sometimes cause complications. If you have water retention during your second trimester, both these fruits serve as a diuretic to flush your system. Pineapple also adds to the content of iron, potassium, fibre and vitamin C.
Method- Combine all the ingredients along with 3. 4 cup of water and blend in a juicer till the mixture is smooth and frothy.
- Pour equal quantities of the juice into 2 individual glasses.
- Serve immediately.
- Ensure that both the papaya and pineapple are fully ripe so that they taste good and also do not upset your tummy.
