Ingredients
For Instant Chocolate Truffle
5 tbsp fresh cream
1/2 cup roughly chopped dark chocolate
1/4 cup chopped mixed nuts (almonds and walnuts)
2 1/4 cups crumbled chocolate sponge cake
chocolate vermicelli for coating
Method
For instant chocolate truffle
- To make instant chocolate truffle, in a broad non-stick pan, add fresh cream, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 2 minutes, while stirring continuously.
- Switch off the flame, add the chocolate and mix well. Keep aside.
- In a deep bowl, add the crumbled cake, mixed nuts and chocolate sauce and mix well.
- Divide the mixture into 10 equal portions and roll each portion into a ball.
- Coat each ball in vermicelli till it is evenly coated.
- Serve or store the instant chocolate truffle in an air-tight container. Use as required.
