1 1/2 cups semolina (rava / sooji)
3/4 cup fresh curd (dahi)
1/2 cup finely chopped cabbage
1/2 cup grated carrot
1/4 cup finely chopped coriander (dhania)
1 tbsp finely chopped green chillies
salt to taste
2 tsp fruit salt
4 tsp oil

- What are semolina pancakes made off? Indian semolina vegetable pancakes are made from 1 1/2 cups semolina (rava), 3/4 cup fresh curds (dahi), 1/2 cup finely chopped cabbage, 1/2 cup grated carrot, 1/4 cup finely chopped coriander (dhania), 1 tbsp finely chopped green chillies, salt to taste, 2 tsp fruit salt and 4 tsp oil.

- In a deep glass bowl put 1 1/2 cups semolina (rava).
- Add 3/4 cup fresh curds (dahi).
- Add 1 cup of water.
- Mix well.
- Allow it to soak for 30 minutes.
- This is what it looks like after 30 minutes.
- Add 1/2 cup finely chopped cabbage.
- Add 1/2 cup grated carrot.

These pancakes are very easy and quick to make, I make this often for breakfast and serve with green chutney or coconut chutney

Can I make these pancakes without the uttapa mould as I don?t have one. If yes, how?
