Ingredients

1 1/2 cups tender green peas
1 1/4 tsp level freshly ground black pepper powder
1/2 tsp chilli powder
1/4 tsp dried ginger (soonth) powder
1/4 tsp sugar
1 tbsp butter
1/2 tbsp dried mango powder (amchur)
1/2 tsp roasted cumin seeds (jeera) powder
1 tbsp chopped coriander (dhania)
2 tsp lemon juice
2 tbsp oil
salt to taste

For Serving
papadis

Method
  1. Heat the oil on a tawa (griddle). Add the green peas, black pepper powder, chilli powder, ginger powder, sugar and salt and cook for 2 to 3 minutes.
  2. Add the butter, amchur powder, cumin seed powder and toss.
  3. Remove from the heat, sprinkle coriander and lemon juice and top with papadis.
  4. Serve hot.
