1 1/2 cups sliced paneer (cottage cheese)
oil for deep frying
1 tbsp chopped green chillies
1 tbsp chopped garlic (lehsun)
1 tbsp chopped ginger (adrak)
1/4 tsp m.s.g
1 tbsp cornflour dissolved in 1 cup water
4 tsp soy sauce
2 tsp chilli-garlic sauce
2 pinches of sugar
1 tbsp oil
  1. Heat the oil in a kadhai and deep fry the paneer pieces till they turn golden brown and crisp from all the sides.
  2. Drain on an absorbent paper and keep aside.
  3. Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a broad pan, add the green chillies, garlic and ginger and saute for a few minutes.
  4. Add the m. S. G and the cornflour mixture and mix well.
  5. Add the soya sauce, chilli-garlic sauce and sugar and cook till the mixture becomes thick.
  6. Add the paneer and cook for 1 minute.
  7. Serve hot.
