Chinese cooking depends on a blend of various ingredients and condiments rather than the taste of individual ingredients. This recipe is a good example of harmonious and subtle flavours marrying together to create a simple but stunning dish.
Main procedure- Heat the oil, add the fresh red chillies, almonds, bean sprouts and vegetables and sauté for a few seconds.
- Add the chinese white sauce and salt and bring to a boil.
- Serve immediately.
- To blanch the almonds, boil water and take off the flame. Add almonds to the hot water and keep aside for 10 to 15 minutes.
- The skin will loosen thus making it easy to peel the almonds.
