chana dal halwa.. never before ate halwa made with chana dal.. only used to make savoury dal.. but this recipe was just amazing once made.. as i was roasting.. full house had become aromatic.. with the smell of ghee.. and had grainy texture.. and perfect sweetness.. i enjoyed making this recipe.. with 100% perfect taste.

Bengal gram cooked in milk and sugar flavored with almond essence. The grainy soft mouth feel of the halwa is a stand out.
