A rajasthani preparation, stuffed gatte brings a nice twist to a traditional gatte ki subzi recipe. Curd blends well with besan gattas and spicy gravy. A nutritious main course Marwari dish.

Method


  1. Mix besan, baking soda,and saltand sievthem together.
  2. Addthe reminning ingredients and make a dough using a cup of water .
  3. Divide the doughinto 16 equal parts.
  4. For the filling
  5. Mix all the ingredients .
  6. Divide the mixture into 16 equal parts.
  7. How to fill
  8. Apply some ghee on your thumb.
  9. Shape the gatta dhough into a cup.
  10. Fill the mixture in the cup and close it making a ball and giving it an oblong shape.
  11. Thensteam the gattas for 20 mins.
  12. For the shorma
  13. Mixereen coriander ,red chilli powderand salt to it.
  14. For the gravy
  15. Heat ghee in a pan then add jeera ,dalchini & laungto it.
  16. Whenthe jeera starts crakling add onion paste to it.
  17. When the onions turn golden brown add teh tomato pure to it.
  18. When the the paste starts leaving sides remove it from fire.
  19. Then add the shorba mix to it and stir it on slow flame till it starts leaving sides.
  20. Now add 3cups of water to it and leave it to boile till it becomes as thick as a sauce.
  21. Then add black pepper,ilaichi,laungpowder to itand boil again.
  22. To serve
  23. Place the steamed gattas in aserving bowl ang then poure the gravy on top.
  24. Garnesh it with chopped coriander.
  25. Serve it with chapatis and paranthas.
