A pleasant recipe to woo your sweet tooth, this sheera of waterchestnut flour is definitely worth a try.

Ingredients

Method
  1. Heat the ghee in a broad non-stick pan, add the waterchestnut flour and cook on a slow flame for 3 to 5 minutes or till it becomes golden brown in colour, while stirring continuously.
  2. Add 2 cups of warm water, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 8 to 10 minutes or till all the water is absorbed, while stirring continuously.
  3. Add the sugar, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 5 to 7 minutes or till the ghee separates.
  4. Add the cardamom powder and mix well.
  5. Serve hot garnished with almonds and pistachios.
