Ingredients

Method
  1. Prick the potatoes with a fork and deep fry them in oil until soft. Remove and keep aside.
  2. Heat 3 tablespoons of oil and fry the paste for 1 to 2 minutes.
  3. Add the tomato, curds, chilli powder and fry for 1 minute. Add the cashewnuts and raisins and fry for 1/2 minute more.
  4. Add the potatoes with 1/2 teacup of water and cook for 3 to 4 minutes.
  5. Add the sugar and salt.
  6. Sprinkle coriander on top and serve hot puris or parathas.

Handy tip

  1. You can peel the potatoes if you wish to.
