1 cup Fenugreek Seeds powder, 1 Cup Salt,1 lime or sour curds
For the tempering :1/2 teaspoon asfotedia, 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder, 6 Green Chillies giving a cut making just two halves not seperated, 1 teaspoon Mustard seeds, 1 teaspoon Cumin Seeds,2 tablespoons Oil
- Roast fenugreek seeds and grind it (not too powdered), then also roast salt till it is white and free flowing.
- Now mix the ingridients,and add some lime to it, mix well and set in a bowl tightly.
- Keep it overnight.
- Then take some oil in a pan, add the mustard and cumin seeds, after the mustard seeds crackle, add some asfotedia, turmeric powder and green chillies and after the chillies get a little fried, add the mixture set in the bowl. cook on slow flame for 2 minutes. let it get cool completely.
- It can be served on plain khakhra, with roti, rice, etc.
