Ingredients

3 cups chopped spinach (palak)
1/2 cup chopped onions
1/2 tsp grated garlic (lehsun)
1 1/2 cups low fat milk (99.7% fat-free)
1 tsp oil
salt and pepperto taste

Method
  1. Heat the oil in a pan and sauté the onions and garlic for a few seconds
  2. Add the spinach and salt and sauté for 2 to 3 minutes.
  3. Add 1½ cups of water and bring to a boil.
  4. Cool and puree in a liquidizer.
  5. Add the milk and pepper and bring to a boil again
  6. Serve hot.
