This Italian-Style Tossed Salad here is a healthy mix of assorted low-cal veggies, tossed with an exotic honey and basil dressing. Ingredients

2 cups iceberg lettuce , torn into small pieces
1/2 cup sliced and blanched mushrooms (khumbh)
1/2 cup blanched broccoli florets
1/2 cup boiled carrot cubes
1/4 cup onion cubes

To Be Mixed Into A Dressing
1 tsp honey
1 tsp lemon juice
1 tbsp chopped basil
salt and freshly ground black pepper (kalimirch) to taste

Method
  1. Combine all the ingredients in a deep bowl and refrigerate till required.
  2. Toss the salad with the dressing and serve immediately.
