Farfalle salmonate is a mouthwatering Italian pasta recipe with boiled farfelle pasta tossed with smoked salmon strips, shallots, herbs and seasonings.

Cooking Time: 4-5 minutes


Ingredients


250 gms capsicum
30 ml brandy
30 to 45 ml fresh cream
strips of smoked salmon 2fillets
10 gms butter
15 gms garlic (lehsun)
50 gms shallots (madras onions)
salt to taste
pepper to taste
250 gms farfalle

Method

  1. Par boil the farfalle (till al-dante)
  2. Roast the green peppers over a flame .
  3. Remove the outer skin and puree the peppers adding a little water.
  4. In a pan add the butter and let it melt then add the chopped shallots and the garlic, saute then add the pureed peppers and the brandy leave in the pan for some time.
  5. Add in the farfalle and the salmon strips
  6. Finally check seasonings and finish off by adding the the cream
