What if I forget my password?
Just click on the Sign In option on the homepage of tarladalal.com. It will lead you to a login in page wherein you have to click on Forgot Your Password icon. We have two very easy password revival systems.

System1 : If you know your username then the system prompts you for an answer to the question you entered while registering. If you answer correctly your password will be flashed on screen.

System2 : If you have forgotten your username as well as password, simply give us your email id and your username and password will be emailed to you.

To check the orders that you have placed at tarladalal.com or view it's status, just log on to the tarladalal.com and click on order tracking. You will get a history of all the items that you had ordered for the whole year.

How do I cancel my order?
You can cancel any order that has not entered the shipping process. To do so log on to tarladalal.com and click on the Order tracking. It will give you a history of all your orders. Choose the order you wish to cancel and click on Cancel Order icon next to it.

Canceling of any order that has already been shipped to you will be considered as returned shipment the cost price of the book will be refunded to you but not the postal charges. Please see our return policy.

Can ordered items be sent as gifts?
Yes, all you have to do us put the current shipping address and the gift message. The order will be gift-wrapped and sent along with your gift message.

Can orders be shipped to countries other than India?
Of course we can ship orders to all the countries of the world.

Can I pay in foreign currency (e.g. $) and send an order to India?
Of course you can just select the $ option for preferred currency and within India as the shipping options.

What are the payment options available?

We offer three-payment option.

Credit Card : Visa & Master card are accepted in our secure payment gateway of ICICI when you shop at tarladalal.com. We will shortly incorporate the option for American Express Cards. Please note that your order will be dispatched immediately after filling your credit card details successfully.

Alternatively, the credit card details like name of the card holder, card no, type of card, expiry date and 3 or 4 digit CVV No. at the back of your card can be faxed to us at 91-22-24968068. Please note that this option is available only for Visa, Master card and Amex.

Demand Draft : You could order online and then send a demand draft or certified cheque in a favour of Sanjay & Co, to our Mumbai address, A-1/353, Shah & Nahar Industrial Estate, Dhanraj Mill Compound, Lower Parel (West), Mumbai 400013, India. Please remember to mention your order no./ membership no. behind the demand draft. Also note that your order will be dispatched only after receipt of the demand draft.

We believe in giving our users the best options at a reasonable price and hence have tied up with a large number of courier services like DHL, Blue Dart, Aramex, TNT, Vichare and DTDC.

Do you deliver worldwide?
Yes, all our cookbooks and magazine are delivered worldwide using DHL, TNT, Aramex and Book-post.

What are the shipping charges?
Shipping rates by courier within India
Within Mumbai - Rs 22 for 500 grams and Rs 33 for 1 kg.
Out of Mumbai - Rs 40/ 500gms
P.S. We send the orders by REGISTERED BOOK POST for areas not covered by courier companies if the mode of payment is Credit Cards, Cheques or Demand Drafts.

Shipping rates outside India
By Registered Book post - Rs 154 for 500 grams and Rs 306 for 1 kg.
By Courier - Rs 1000 for the first 500 gms and Rs 250 for every additional 500 gms (excluding surcharge).

Therefore if your parcel weighs 600 gms you will be charged for 1000 gms i.e 1 kg. i.e Rs. 70 within India and Rs. 1,250/- outside India. So buying another book which weighs less than 400 grams will help you save on shipping costs. To make your calculation simpler, the weight of each book have been mentioned next to its image.

Please note if payments are made by COD, additional Rs 30 will be charged for all shipments within India. Please check our website for cities applicable for COD option through Aramex.

Do you deliver to P.O. Boxes?
No, we are sorry, as a policy decision, we do not deliver our products to P.O. Boxes in any country except U.A.E.

What is the lead-time for delivery?
We try and deliver our products as soon as possible anywhere in the world. Our maximum lead-time for delivery of products is as follows:

If you choose to pay by Demand draft or certified cheque, your order will be processed only after we receive your demand draft.
If you choose the cheque payment option, the order will be processed only after your cheuqe has been realised.
In case the courier service does not deliver to your hometown in India (which is quite rare) we will ship it by Registered Book-post post and inform the same via email.

What if I am not at home when the parcel is delivered?
The courier services will attempt delivery 2 times. In case the delivery is not executed during these attempts due to the recipient being unavailable / premises being locked the parcel is returned to our office as undelivered.

Please note that the delivery of items will not be attempted on Sunday or any public holidays due to unavailability of the courier service.

What is your Return Policy?
Within 30 days of receipt of your shipment, you may return our product for a full refund if you are not satisfied with it.

Please note that we'll refund the shipping cost only if the return is a result of our error.

What is your Refund Policy?We will notify you via mail of your refund once we have received and processed the returned item. In case you have paid by credit card, your refund will be credited to your account. If however you have made the payment using cheque or demand draft, a cheque will be sent to you. You can expect a refund within 7 working days of our receiving the return.

How to pack and return goods?

We would request you to pack the items along with the invoice in an envelope or box. You can even use the box the items arrived in.
