Ingredients Quantities
3 cups drumstick flowers
1 cup grated coconut
2 medium onions
1/2 tsp coriander (dhania) seeds (roasted and powdered)
1/2 tsp chilli powder
1/4 tsp turmeric powder (haldi)
1/2 tsp tamarind (imli) pulp
2 tbsp besan (Bengal gram flour)
salt to taste
oil for frying
2 tbsp rice flour (chawal ka atta)

Method


    Method of preparation

    1. Wash the flowers. chop the onions fine and mix all the ingredients well except oil and rice flour.
    2. Mix, applying slight pressure and separate into 10 portions. make round balls and flatten them. they should be approximately 1 cm thickness.
    3. Roll in rice flour on both sides. heat frying pan and put 2 teaspoons of oil on it. then arrange cutlets on the frying pan and pour 4 to 5 teaspoons of oil all round.
    4. Fry over low heat till brown. then turn on the other side, add little more oil and fry till brown and crisp.
