Custard Sauce ( Eggless Sauce)

Custard sauce, made with combining the custard powder and little milk to
form a smooth paste. After which it is added to boiling milk and stirred
continuously to avoid lumps and get a thick mixture.

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups milk
4 tsp sugar
2 tbsp levelled , custard powder
1/2 tsp vanilla essence

Method
  1. Mix the custard powder in 1/2 teacup of cold milk to a smooth paste.
  2. Put the rest of the milk to boil with the sugar.
  3. When the milk starts boiling, add the custard powder gradually and cook on a medium flame for 3 to 4 minutes while stirring continuously.
  4. Cool the sauce and add the vanilla essence.
