For The Chocolate Spread (makes 8 Tbsp Approx.)
1 tbsp low fat butter
2 tbsp cocoa powder
5 tbsp low fat milk
1 tsp sugar substitute

Other Ingredients
4 slices of whole wheat bread
4 tsp quick cooking rolled oats

For the chocolate spread

  1. Melt the butter in a non-stick pan, add the cocoa powder and cook for a minute while stirring continuously.
  2. Add the milk and sugar substitute and cook while still stirring continuously till it thickens. Keep aside.

How to proceed

  1. Take a bread slice and cut its sides. Apply 2 tablespoons of the spread and sprinkle 1 teaspoon of oats evenly on the slice and roll up like a swiss roll.
  2. Cut it into 3 equal portions.
  3. Repeat with the remaining bread slices and chocolate spread to make 9 more pinwheels.
  4. Serve immediately.
